Burning (Smudging) sage is an ancient ritual. 

Lavender Sage is used to help restore emotional balance and create a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere. Blue sage is good for healing and cleansing rituals. How to use: hold one end of the stick in the flame of a lighter and rotate it. Blow the lit end and give it a gentle shake. The end should smoke.
